The moment we met Jerry Hynes, we sensed that he was a person of warmth, openness, and integrity.  Throughout the building process, these qualities we exhibited over and over.

Modifying one of his building plans to our individual needs and desires, made what might have been a difficult task not only easy, but exciting and enjoyable - as was the entire building of our home.  A builder's use of long-standing sub-contractors really shows as the building progresses, as did ours with no (really) no mishaps or problems.

Four years later, our appreciation of our home, its construction quality and uniqueness, has not dimmed.  And the many who share its warmth with us, comment on these elements as well.

Working with Jerry Hynes and his crew was a real pleasure!  How many people can say that about building a new home?  We fell in love with a house in the process of being framed, and that’s when we met Jerry.  We had a difficult task ahead… building a second home for four siblings and their families.  Jerry was the perfect builder for these trying times of attempting to make a host of people happy.  We found Jerry’s work to be exceptional.  But it was his kind, cooperative spirit that made this project a joy.  Today, we enjoy a friendship with Jerry and his wife Bobbie and look forward to seeing them whenever we’re at Big Canoe.

In the past 30 years Stephanie and I have moved nine times in 7 different states. We have always had new home built for us. In our "last" move to Big Canoe, we were fortunate to have chosen Jerry Hynes as our builder. My wife picked out the floor plan and Jerry modified it to meet our needs. He kept to the time table and completed the house on-time and within budget. Jerry and his team were very easy and accommodating to work with.

The product delivered was a very tightly constructed house, extremely environmentally efficient and very comfortable to live in. In working with Jerry and his team you could sense they cared. They cared about quality in their construction and their sub contractors did the same. Jerry stands behind his product, while building the home and after you move in.

To me, the most important aspect of the entire building process is that Jerry Hynes was a man of his word. Hynes Construction made, what could have been a difficult process, an enjoyable one for us.

We have had a very positive experience in working with Hynes Construction and have found them to be fair, honest, and professional.  We have excellent response in communications and have been pleased with the quality of material and workmanship on the house. We have met the sub-contractors working on our house and have been both surprised and impressed by the long standing relationships between these individuals and Jerry Hynes.  It has been a pleasure meeting and working with the suppliers for this project as we have found everyone to be courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful.

In the selection of a builder, it was important to choose someone who had the knowledge to work with our bank’s construction officer, and Jerry was able and willing to do this due to his level of experience in the construction industry.  It was also important to hire a Certified Professional Home Builder, who through his years of education, training, and experience understood the importance of delivering a top quality finished product.

Jerry came to us as a complete stranger during the builder interview process.  We were familiar with his product, having seen several of his finished houses.  In meeting with him for the first time we found him to possess genuine character and a strong work ethic, revealing a true and honest integrity.  These are the reasons we are very thankful we selected Hynes Construction and would quickly recommend Hynes in the future.

Hynes Custom Homes was our choice builder in Big Canoe.  Never once did we have second thoughts about our choosing Jerry and his team.  We were impressed by other homes Hynes Construction had built and the numerous good comments of earlier buyers and acquaintances.  Quality construction, reliable contractors, promises kept, no hassle follow-up and timetables met seem to be their hallmarks.  The team at Hynes Construction is a good group to work with and count on.

My "Hynes In The Pines" Home Experience. It all began on Mother's Day of 2004. My daughter and son-in-law wanted to take me to Big Canoe for the day just to look at the area. I thought we were looking for a home site for them but they wanted me to see Big Canoe for myself. After going through the main gate we stopped by the Big Canoe Real Estate office and asked for a realtor to show us around. We lucked out and got a guy named Tom Beechler. After checking all the listings, Tom drove us around and I fell in love with the area. Sooooo the house hunting began via of many phone calls and emails back and forth with Tom. I must add that I lived five hours away from Big Canoe so it wasn't possible for me to come back and forth easily. One day I was here in Big Canoe and Tom showed me a house that Jerry Hynes had built and I was impressed with the quality of his work. Tom told me that Jerry was planning to build a house that met my needs perfectly. I talked to Jerry and looked at a few lots and decided that I wanted a "Hynes in the Pines" home. After deciding Big Canoe was for me, I had many decisions to make about making a major move to a new area and a new state. I came to see my home being built as often as possible. With each visit I became more and more excited about living here and about my new home. Now it is almost two years later and I love my home and I love living in Big Canoe. I feel so fortunate that we met Tom Beechler on day one and that he in turn introduced us to Jerry Hynes and that I have a beautiful house in a great location in the Equestrian area. My house hunting experience was a good one thanks to these two guys...Tom and Jerry!
